2003 Dodge Ram Passenger Window Switch Not Working

2003 dodge ram passenger window switch not working. If nothing happens then you know you have a broken wire somewhere. 2003 ram 1500 pickup window will not work on passenger side but will work from drivers side. In my 1997 dodge ram 1500 i replaced the entire passenger power window regulator. Remove the nuts holding the two upright channels in the door on the top and bottom.

I disconnected the regulator to switch connection. The 2003 dodge ram 2500 has 11 problems reported for power windows don t work. Check the wires by peeling back that boot on each door to expose the wires. When the truck key is in the on position the regulator won t move or make any noise.

The passenger window will not operate with the passenger switch but will work fine with the switch on the driver s panel. Remove the bolts holding the motor to the door. Average failure mileage is 91 450 miles. If they are not broken then replace the master switch.

If that ground is not present at the passenger door switch then that passenger switch will not work. Remove the regulator and motor if the motor had worked previously but the window regulator did not work. Make sure the ignition is to on. Have already replaced swith but did not help check for continuity across the switch wires.

Must use driver side switch to lower and raise passenger window. 12 volts of power attached to the regulator side female moved the regulator up and when switching the leads down. Front passenger electric window switch does not work. The master switch supplies a ground when it is in a neutral state.
